Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi
Upon arrival in Nairobi you will be received by our friendly staff and transferred to your hotel in Nairobi. Accommodation at Aura Safaris and Mission Tours has been handpicked to ensure that our guests get the best experience and a taste of Kenya’s culture and hospitality after a long flight.

Day 2: Amboseli
After breakfast, depart Nairobi at approximately 07.30 Hours and drive south to Amboseli National Park. Amboseli National Park is located in Loitoktok District, Rift Valley Province of Kenya. The ecosystem mainly savannah grassland spread across the Kenya-Tanzania border. The park is famous for being the best place in Africa to get close to free-ranging elephants among other wildlife species including Lions, Cheetahs, Zebras, and Wildebeest among others. Other attractions of the park include opportunities to meet the Maasai and spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Located at the foot of the majestic Mt. Kilimanjaro, Amboseli is home to a wealth of wildlife and particularly huge herds of elephants. Relax after lunch and start the evening game viewing drive at the late afternoon returning to lodge at dusk. Arrive in Amboseli National Park in time for lunch and your afternoon game drive.

Day 3: Amboseli
After breakfast at the camp, you will depart the camp with picnic lunch and explore the Amboseli Eco system further. Enjoy a full day game drive in the land of Elephants. Experience the wildlife that roam this national park. Crowned by Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak, the Amboseli National Parks is one of Kenya's most popular parks. The name "Amboseli" comes from a Maasai word meaning "salty dust", and it is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. Nature lovers can explore five different habitats here ranging from the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli, wetlands with sulfur springs, the savanna and woodlands. They can also visit the local Masai community who live around the park and experience their authentic culture.
Day 4: Masai Mara
Early morning is at leisure as you get ready for your safari. Depart the lodge after breakfast for your flight to Nairobi. Upon arrival at Wilson Airport, you will connect with your mid morning flight which takes you to the Maasai Mara with scenic aerial views en route. Dinner and overnight at the Masai Mara.

Day 5 : Masai Mara
Your days at the Mara revolve around thrilling game drives exploring the breathtaking life at the reserve. The day’s program will depend on the wildlife sighting, migration patterns and the prevailing weather conditions. Your Wakeup call is at 0500 Hrs. to freshen up for an early morning breakfast at the lounge. Depart the camp at 0600 hrs. for your early morning game drive in search of wildlife with a mid-morning bush picnic breakfast at 1000 hrs. Continue with the game drive headed back to the camp. Make it to the camp at 1130 hrs. to rest and have lunch. Early afternoon is at leisure. Enjoy tea/coffee at 1500 hrs. and depart for your evening game drive at 1545 Hrs.
Day 6: Masai Mara
Depending on the wildlife migration patterns and the weather, you could either opt for Morning and evening game drives or alternatively venture out for a full day. Other optional activities on this day would be an early morning balloon flight over the Maasai Mara plains and a visit to the nearby Maasai communities.
Day 7: Nairobi
Your last day at the Maasai Mara starts with an early morning out photographing the wildlife. Depart the camp at 0630 returning at 0900 Hrs. for breakfast before transferring to the airstrip for your flight back to Nairobi. Lunch is at the Hotel Karen Blixen Tamambo upon arrival in Nairobi. You will have time to refresh and repackage in your reserved day room at the Four Points Sheraton Nairobi Hotel. Transfer to the JKIA (Jomo Kenyatta International Airport) in the early evening for your flight back.
